Description:

The Bioresource Engineering Department is located on the Macdonald Campus of McGill University and is focused on systems in which biological components are major participants. Major areas of focus are soil and water management, materials processing, food and biotechnology, machinery, structures, automation and control, and the larger environment. Over the last couple of years a major push within the department has been to expand our research into investigating ecosystem design (controlled and natural), watershed management, agricultural pollution control, biofuel generation and remote sensing.
